Originating in Venice, Italy, Dal Moro’s®, is a newer concept bringing high-quality Italian food to the masses by using a typical fast-food/restaurant format.
Named after its chef/owner Gabriele Dal Moro who is a 7th-generation Venetian, Dal Moro’s® India is aiming to show Indian that’s it’s possible to enjoy authentic Italian pastas in a fast-casual environment.

Gabriele Dal Moro will be present during the initial openings in Bangaluru (South India) in February 2025 to personally witness the result of years of dedication and hard work. His presence reflected Dal Moro’s® commitment to customer satisfaction and product quality, which have always been and will always remain at the core of the brand’s philosophy.

The moment Stefano Rossi and I met our Indian franchisees for the first time, we knew something special was happening. They had discovered our small store in Venice and instantly fell in love with our concept and fresh pasta. Their passion was undeniable—they were so convinced by Dal Moro’s that they insisted on bringing it to India.

What truly impressed us was their dedication. They believed in the brand so much that they returned to Venice just to sign the Master Franchise agreement. That level of commitment and enthusiasm told us everything we needed to know—these were the right people to lead Dal Moro’s expansion in India.
Their vision, energy, and love for quality food perfectly align with our brand’s philosophy. We are excited to embark on this journey together and bring authentic, fresh pasta to a whole new market!

Shanuda and Mehfooz are also parents to two beautiful children and live with their family, where the concept of hospitality, respect, and great courtesy shines through every moment spent with them.

During our first visit to Bengaluru, they opened the doors of their home, welcoming us into their most private and personal space. This experience created a deep connection, making our business development journey even more meaningful and intense.

Visiting Bengaluru was an unforgettable journey into India’s rich culture and vibrant cuisine. Hosted by Mehfooz and Shanuda’s family, we experienced incredible hospitality and authentic flavors. This immersion confirmed our belief—India is the perfect place for Dal Moro’s expansion. The passion for food and tradition here aligns perfectly with our brand’s values and vision.

Gabriele Dal Moro and Stefano Rossi traveled to India for franchisee training, immersing themselves in a vibrant culture rich in flavors and opportunities. They were impressed by India's love for bold spices, its growing appetite for international cuisine, and the country's potential for Italian brands like Dal Moro’s®. The fast-paced economy and dynamic food scene make India an exciting market for investment.

However, navigating the streets revealed challenges: chaotic traffic, extreme contrasts between luxury and poverty, and inconsistent infrastructure. Despite this, their experience confirmed that India is a land of immense potential, where Dal Moro’s® can thrive with the right strategy.

Food

Gabriele and Stefano explored Bangalore’s vibrant culinary scene, guided by Mehfooz and Shanuda. Every dish was an explosion of flavors—aromatic curries, perfectly spiced biryanis, and rich, creamy dals. The balance of spices and bold tastes truly impressed them, reinforcing the idea that Indian palates appreciate deep, intense flavors. Inspired by this journey, they believe that integrating local influences into Dal Moro’s® menu could be a game-changer.
